Launching soon
I’m very happy to share with you that I’m back focussing on career consulting. This year has really highlighted to me that coaching people through career transitions is my passion and I’m looking forward to jumping straight back in.
Have you been wanting to make a career change for some time, but find yourself a bit frozen in how to take the steps forward? Often times it’s fear of the unknown or potential failure that can freeze us. Other times it’s purely uncertainty about how to action the way forward. INSEAD bloggers, Claire Harbour and Antoine Tirard, share seven steps that can help you unfreeze and move forward. This is a very sensible approach, and well worth reviewing if you are considering a career change. Also remember that you don’t need to take this journey on your own. Quite often it just takes some support, either from social contacts or a professional coach, to help you unfreeze and take those first few steps.
Jennifer Petriglieri, an INSEAD professor, has pondered this question in her personal and professional life. She is about to launch a book on the subject, which I’m keen to dive into, but in the meantime, the Wall Street Journal has provided us with some of her insights in a fantastic read., which you can access via the link below.
Deakin & Griffith Universities have partnered with Ford Australia to delve into what job opportunities may look like for us in the future.
